Parent's access to JPC systems

COMPASS	Compass is a school management solution Access here	1) COMPASS access is emailed to parents in the first weeks of term 1. An email from Compass will be sent titled "Welcome to St John Paul II College - Nicholls' Compass platform" 2) Follow the links to set up your account and change your password. 3) An app is available for Compass	Email - jpcportal@cg.catholic.edu.au
Canvas Parent Portal	Compass username Access here	1) Canvas Parent uses same username as Compass. 2) Canvas access is emailed to parents when the account is created. An email from notifications@instructure.com will be sent titled "Finish Registration: Canvas"	Email - jpcportal@cg.catholic.edu.au

Canvas / Canvas Parent

Canvas is JPC’s Online Learning Platform from 2025. This is where students and parents can access all of the digital learning resources required for their classes. Course outlines and assessment items are also located on Canvas and students may be required to submit their work on Canvas as well. Parent information sessions are run at the beginning of the year to enable parents to familiarise themselves with Canvas.

Parents access Canvas using the same username as Compass. Complete new account registration or select Forgot Password when you log in for the first time.

Compass

Compass is a school management solution that allows parents and carers to access up-to-date information. JPC use Compass for the following features:

Personal detail changes (email, phone)
Excursions/Permissions
Payments
School Canteen - topup and online order
Attendance
Student Wellbeing

IT Requirements (Years 8 -12)

Year 7 students are required to purchase a text book pack, and will NOT be required to purchase a device. These will be provided by the school, for learning in class, when required. Textbook packs will be made available through our preferred supplier Campion and delivered to each students home.
