Year 7 Getting to Know You - Day 2
This week the Year 7 students spent Monday together, getting to know each other and building their teamwork skills. The students were challenged to meet new people, as well as build house spirit and demonstrate their understanding of our school’s theme, “serve one another humbly in love”.
Overall this was a great day, and the positivity shown by all students was excellent!
We look forward to working with the Year 7 students more throughout the year!

On Thursday 24th February, our year 11 and 12 outdoor education students embarked on a day of embracing resilience, grit, teamwork, leadership…….and mud! We were greeted by Canberra’s own Lee Campbell, who facilitated our outdoor journey, which required a great amount of teamwork.
As part of our outdoor education leadership unit, the team helped each other through rope courses and keeping individuals in a stretcher above the mud water, while trying to not lose our shoes to the mud pit……
It was a great day that Mr McDonnell and Mr Zucchetto were proud to be part of.
WELL DONE SENIOR OUTDOOR ED!!
I look forward to our wilderness programs in the near future.

It’s best to start with the good news, right? As a nation, Australia continues to improve its recycling efforts year on year. BUT Australians also generate about 67 million tonnes of waste every year — alarmingly that figure continues to rise year on year. (from Urbaneast.com.au)
Today members of our school community came together to participate in the 2022 Clean Up Australia Day (Schools) Campaign.
Started over thirty years ago, the day has now become the nation's largest community-based environmental event.
Together, students and staff collected rubbish from across our site and the common areas (paths and walkways) surrounding our College.
Thank you to Ivy Keating and Jordan Skerritt (2022 Justice Leaders) for their organisation and leadership of the day.
