Year 9 and 10 Electives 2022

 REMINDER

A reminder that Web Preferences is now OPEN for students currently in Years 8 and 9, so they can indicate their preferences for electives for Years 9 and 10, 2022.  Selections CLOSE on Monday, Week 4, 2 August, 9:00 am.

This will be a two-stage process:

1. Students currently in Years 8 and 9 nominate eight (8) preferences the four (4) Electives that they will take next year. This data feeds directly into the creation of the 2022 timetable. Student selections determine if specific electives run and how many classes of each elective are filled, limited by the availability of specialist rooms and teachers.
2. Student allocations will be communicated and students may request a change dependent on space and other student movements (Term 4).

It is anticipated that there will be no movement of students between electives at the start of 2022.  No student will be allocated an elective not on their list. Students who do not make their selection by the deadline may be allocated to available spaces once the timetable is created.

Week 2, Friday 23 July: Web Preferences opened to students to select electives – unit descriptions can be accessed through this program.

Week 4, Monday 2 August: Web Preferences close to students.

Term 4: Publication of allocations; one week opportunity to reselect max two (2) electives.
