Photographer's Visit - Yr 9/10 Photography & Media
This week our Year 9/10 Photography & Media students were very privileged to have a visit from the lovely Mel and Michael from Mel Hill Photography (https://www.melhillphotography.com) in Harrison. They discussed the ins and outs of the industry, and how to best to approach a career in Photography. They showed us some of their work, and talked to us about their journey to becoming a high profile photography business in Canberra – I believe the key is hard work, and being reliable! They taught us about what it means to combine business and photography together, in order to make it a successful profession. They showed us some of their products and their images and described what their daily lives look like as well as the atmosphere they work in.
