The 2021 Cinders musical is progressing like a fairytale dream come true. The cast and band are working hard in their rehearsals, showing off their talents. The backstage crew has also joined our rehearsals, adding another layer of complexity to the onstage magic.

Rehearsals 2.30pm – 5pm Wednesday

Starting Week 18, Wednesday 16th June, Cinders rehearsals will be extended by 30minutes to the finishing time of 5pm. Officially, our weekly rehearsals, from Week 18 to Term 3, Week 3, will be 2.30pm – 5pm. This includes all cast members and backstage crew.

T-shirt Final Order Tuesday 15th June

As being part of the Musical, we wish to offer the opportunity for students to purchase a t-shirt to commemorate this experience. This is not compulsory, however, does encourage a tight-knit community for the show and is a great memento! These shirts could be worn during rehearsals and tends to become an unofficial uniform for Production Week. These unique shirts will be a black t-shirt with the show logo for $25. Payment can be made via the Qkr! app. Orders will be placed on Week 18, Term 2, Tuesday 15th June.

Program Photos – Wednesday 16th June

Photographs for the Program will be taken during Week 18 rehearsal. If cast have their 2020 Cinderella polo top, they are encouraged to wear this. Spare shirts for photographs will be provided.

Cast Costumes – Due Wednesday 23rd June

Cast are required to ensure their costumes are complete and stored in the Drama cupboard by our final rehearsal for this term, Wednesday 23rd June. Students must ensure their costume is complete with their main character costume, accessorises, ballroom scene change and shoes is brought to school. Costume is to be in a labelled bag.

Sewing Bee – Thursday 24th June 3.45pm
A royal ball calls for a royal outfit. As such, we are asking for helpers to join our sewing bee on Thursday 24th June from 3.45pm. Simple skirts and cummerbunds will be created – so if you can measure, cut, sew and use an overlocker – we are wishing for you help! If anyone could bring an overlocker with them, that would also be appreciated. Sewing Bee will take place in the textiles room. Please contact Mrs Sarah Smith if you have questions.
