Mathieu’s Bridget Shelley from year 12, has been participating in a highly distinguished United Nations program over the past few weeks known as the Young Diplomats Tour.

The program selects just 25 students from across Australia to explore the complex realities of diplomacy and has involved meeting with UN representatives, European Politicians, diplomats, leading thinkers, to NGOs and grassroots organisations. When I discussed the program with her, her eyes lit up, and she enthusiastically describes her experience. It’s clear to me that the program is of great value to and a joy to be a part of.

In a typical year, she would have been in Europe visiting significant sights and meeting the UN representatives in person, which unfortunately the tour is unable to do at this time. Next year?
