Meet the SOSE Faculty.
SOSE encompasses a wide variety of senior and junior school subjects including history, geography, economics, business studies and philosophy. All of these subjects work together to provide the student with a rich curriculum and a greater understanding of their place in the world. The SOSE faculty has many experienced teachers with a broad range of life experiences.

During Semester One Year 8 students study Medieval Europe with a focus on The Vikings. Year 9 students study The Making of the Modern World 1750-1918 with a focus on the settlement of Australia and events culminating in WW1. Year 10 students will study The Modern World, with a focus on the main events of WW2 from Australia’s perspective and the 1960’s Civil Rights and Freedoms Movements. During Semester 2 Year 10 students will study Geography.
