Academy of Interactive Entertainment
2 October - Industry Experience Day (Year 10, 11 and 12)
AIE's Industry Experience Day is a great opportunity for students in Years 10, 11 and 12 to learn about the local and international game development, 3D animation and visual effects industries. Students will get the opportunity to learn about the different pathways to get into the industry, what should be in a portfolio and will be able to get creative in practical workshops using industry-standard 3D animation and game development tools.
UNSW are excited to announce our newly established campus in Canberra’s City centre. In 2025, UNSW will welcome their first undergraduate students in our Bachelor of Cyber Security program.
The Bachelor of Cyber Security is a future-focused, three-year degree informed by critical government and industry skills gaps. Students will have access to a range of targeted courses developed to respond to the needs of government and industry within a sector defined by rapid change. Enterprising Girl of the Year Competition
The Enterprising Girl of the Year is smart, savvy and a real go-getter! Does this sound like you?
The winner will be a guest at the Kickstarter Challenge Grand Final at Parliament House on 9 October 2024 where they will pitch their winning idea to a theatre full of innovative leaders.
The winner will also receive:
- Free business pitch training workshop with experts from Enterprising ME
- The 'Enterprising Girl of the Year 2024' trophy
- A goodie bag with some sweet prizes
- And maybe even an appearance on the news (cool!)
The Enterprising Girl of the Year Competition is bringing these programs together and celebrating female business owners of all ages! Who will be the Enterprising Girl of the Year? We can’t wait to meet her and see our winner in Canberra on the big stage!
Elevate - Women in STEM University Scholarship
ATSE's Elevate: Boosting women in STEM program will award up to 500 undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships to women and non-binary people in STEM. Elevate aims to address gender inequities in STEM through fostering more women and non-binary led industry-academia collaborations in applied research and business, growing professional skills of women in STEM and propelling women and non-binary people into leadership.
The Elevate program provides:
• A scholarship
• Access to events and networking
• Mentoring
• Wellbeing support during scholars’ university studies

Firefighters respond to emergency calls for a variety of disasters, including fires, chemical spills, gas leaks, rescue missions, and accidents. Their main job is to protect lives and property. They may also help by spreading awareness and education to the wider community about fire safety.
