The ANU early entry application process for Year 12 closes on Monday 13th of May (next week!). If you need any support, please see the careers team.
White Card, Asbestos and Silica courses
A FEW SPOTS LEFT!
This term we are able to offer the White Card, Asbestos and Silica courses here at JPC for students. These courses are essential in the ACT for being able to complete work on a construction site.
There are spots available on the 17/18 June. This is open to students aged 14 years or over.
- All three courses cost $390
- Silica only is $240
- White Card only is $75
As there are a limited number of students able to be enrolled in each course, please contact careers.jpc@cg.catholic.edu.au for details on how to enrol.
YEAR 10 WORK EXPERIENCE - 1st-5th July
This is a friendly reminder that the forms for the Year 10 work experience week are due at the end of Week 14 (Week 3, Term 2). All information about the process can be found on the Year 10 Transition Moodle page.

University of Wollongong visit - Monday
The Uni of Wollongong will present on Monday at lunch in PF5. This is open to all students from Years 10-12.

Join ADCO for their upcoming ‘Girls Who Build’ online careers information sessions and explore a wide range of fulfilling roles in the construction industry.
During these sessions, you will have the chance hear from the Women of ADCO and learn about:

Canberra Theatre Work Experience
INTERESTED IN A CAREER IN THE PERFORMING ARTS? Work Experience at the Canberra Theatre Centre (CTC) is a crucial first step to understand the performing arts industry and how it operates.
Canberra Theatre Centre offers Year 10 & senior school students a chance to spend a week in Canberra’s largest professional theatres, learning, developing, observing and participating in various areas of operation. Students will spend time working out of The Courtyard Studio with a small group of passionate theatre makers, while learning from industry professionals across all areas of theatre, including directing, stage management, lighting, sound, mechanics, performance, design and more.
